Peter Emery,
Senior Consultant

A graduate in economics and business administration, Peter Emery has been a professional fundraiser for more than a decade. Peter did his initial training with an established UK fundraising consultancy before working independently as a fundraising consultant.

Peter brings to Action Planning experience in directing a number of successful capital campaigns for amounts ranging from £500K to over £7m. He has worked with clients from across the not-for-profit sector, including charities, schools, hospitals, universities and care homes.

Peter also has excellent experience managing the day-to-day fundraising of a major charity through his work as an interim fundraising director for the Zoological Society of London. This involved managing the full spectrum of fundraising activities including direct mail, legacies, major gifts, corporate sponsorship, alumni and volunteers.

He now lends his expertise and knowledge to Action Planning’s two fundraising teams where he project manages capital appeals and advises charities on fundraising.
