Ken Pearson,
Consultant
Ken is one of the most respected and successful capital, planned giving and legacy fundraisers in the UK, with particular expertise in the church and faith sector. He holds a Bachelor of Theology degree and a post-graduate degree in Old Testament Theology.
Ken began his career in South Africa with South Africa Youth for Christ as Media Director before joining the Leprosy Mission as Promotional Director. He then moved to a global fundraising consultancy, running their Johannesburg office and working with ambitious campaigns for the Roman Catholic schools in Soweto and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Johannesburg.
In the UK Ken has consulted to and directed some of the country’s most successful church fundraising programmes, including Bath Abbey and St Martin’s in the Bull Ring (Birmingham). As a Senior Consultant at Action Planning Ken works with our capital fundraising team, with a specific focus on working with churches and Christian organisations.
