David
Senior,
Director of Development
David Senior has held senior management
roles in both the commercial and voluntary sectors. He
was ICI Group Advertising Manager, responsible for a
world-wide corporate image programme, a Director of ProShare,
the organisation which promotes financial education,
and Chief Executive of The Millennium Arts Festival for
Schools, a DfEE-backed project which enabled 18,000 schools
to explore the Christian significance of the year 2000.
David was brought into Action Planning in 2001 to develop
the national profile of the organisation. He has built
strategic partnerships with ACEVO, Third Sector and the
Government, led the rebranding of the firm, created our
national events programme and chaired over twenty major
conferences, including the launch of Futurebuilders England.
David was previously Roumieu Scholar in
Law at Jesus College, Cambridge and President of the Cambridge
Union.
