Now it its seventh year, ‘Funding the Future’ is the third sector’s largest ‘meet the funders’ event and comprises a morning plenary session followed by seven concurrent afternoon streams to enable charities to meet funders interested in their field of work.

The new Third Sector Minister - Kevin Brennan MP, will deliver the keynote address on the Government strategy for helping third sector organisations to secure and deliver more contracts
for the delivery of public services. |

The new Shadow Third Sector Minister - Nick Hurd MP, wil share Conservative proposals to reform statutory funding, create a new lottery distributor and work with the third sector to deliver ‘Breakthrough Britain’. |

Chief Executive of the Big Lottery Fund - Peter Wanless, will consult delegates on the development of BLF’s new funding streams. You can also meet members of the BLF’s policy team during the specialist afternoon streams. |

Director of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts - Alan Bookbinder, will speak on the implications of the financial crisis, what impresses his team about the charities they work with and how to evaluate a charity’s impact. |

Fundraising in a recession - Victoria Anderson, Head of Advisory Services at the Charities Aid Foundation, will assess the impact of the recesion and outline stragegies for increasing and diversifying your income. |

Survival strategies for the downturn - Stephen Bubb, Chief Executive of ACEVO, will examine how to grow income and contain costs, alternative funding sources and the support available to individual charities facing difficulties. |

The Challenges of Success - New research findings into how the Britain’s fastest growing charities are building their income streams and managing change, will be presented by Kerry Rock Tim Waldron of Action Planning. |

Chief Executive of Futurebuilders - Jonathan Lewis will set out Futurebuilders’ ‘form free’ strategy for expediting decision making and helping a wider range of organisations. Jonathan’s team will also address the afternoon streams. |
