lottery and trust funders, speaking in plenary session and in seven specialist streams.

Third Sector Minister, Phil Hope MP, on the implications of the Comprehensive Spending Review for third sector funding in 2008-11, the implementation of the Third Sector Review and practical support to help you win more contracts.

A further five Government Ministers will then give more detail to charities in each field in the specialist afternoon streams (see opposite).

Chair of the Charity Commission, Dame Suzi Leather, on ‘Speaking up and speaking out – how the sector can meet the communications and campaigning challenges facing charities in a changing environment.’

Big Lottery Fund Policy Director, Gerald Oppenheim, on progress in implementing BLF’s current programmes, key policies and policy developments and ‘a look to the future’. A further five members of BLF’s central policy team will then discuss funding programmes with charities in each field in the afternoon streams.

Esmée Fairbairn Foundation Chief Executive, Dawn Austwick, on the Foundation’s new demand-led approach for 2008, and how trusts can ‘change Britain by taking more risks’.

Enterprise Director of acevo, Peter Kyle, on ‘Does the Government put its money where its mouth is? The future of funding for the sector’. Peter was previously Special Adviser at the Cabinet Office.

CAF Chief Executive, Dr John Low, on "investing for impact". CAF is commited to helping charities to raise more money, and make it go further.

1. Health and Social Care, with the Health and Social Care Minister, Ivan Lewis MP, the Big Lottery Fund, Futurebuilders and grant-making trusts - plus briefing on hospice funding.

2. Community Regeneration and Social Change with Communities Minister, Baroness Andrews, the Big Lottery Fund, Futurebuilders and grant-making charitable trusts.

3. Children and Young People with DCSF lead Minister for the third sector, Kevin Brennan MP, BBC Children in Need Chief Executive, David Ramsden, Big Lottery Fund, Futurebuilders and grant-making trusts.

4. Arts and Heritage with the Culture Minister, the Rt Hon Margaret Hodge MP, Arts Council England, the Heritage Lottery Fund, grant-making trusts, commercial sponsors and guidance on raising funds from America.

5. International Development with Shahid Malik MP,
lead Minister for NGO funding at DFID, the Big Lottery Fund, grant-making charitable trusts and guidance on raising funds from America.

6. The Environment featuring the Big Lottery Fund and the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts, with which it is working to distribute funds, grant-making charitable trusts and guidance on raising funds from America.

7. Faith-based organistions with the Director of the Henry Smith Charity, Richard Hopgood, Futurebuilders and other grant-making charitable trusts.
